'The words echoed in Reneé's ears, making her realise that her most dreaded situation had come to a pass. This was, this had been the one thing she had been fearing the most all these lifetimes. Even though she had tried her best to ignore the possibility by sentencing it to the farthest corner of her mind, some part of her had always known that she would be getting confronted by him...some day for sure, and that day might have come up at any time, in all these years.
But no! It hadn't, it hadn't even given any hint or the slightest inclination to appear any time in all those years, when she had spent all that time, fearing about it. And ironically enough, that day had just marked its presence in her life when she was already panicking about Dionne and him recalling everything and Surbhi remembering what she had done, along with the guilt that came with it!
