Mehul exclaimed, not expecting her to show up so soon, knowing that she must have been kept busy by the two girls and two ladies, who would definitely have kept her hostage in order to select the dresses, jewellery and makeup for herself as well as the others, for the upcoming event.
"Yeah! Mukul asked me to come…"
She replied, bringing him back from the realm of his thoughts to the reality, while she continued;
"But Dada, you didn't tell me yet- what plan were you both talking about?"
Oh, us? It's nothing-"

As soon as the question was out of Nitya's mouth, Mehul had started speaking over her, not in a hurry to answer her question but instead to change the direction of the conversation.
