Nitya noticed Surbhi's confused state as she opened her eyes, after almost one full bottle of water had been splashed on her face, thanks to Dae Jung's panic.
She quickly intervened after her best friend's sudden outrage, jumping in for damage control quickly so that Dae Jung didn't feel bad.
"Suro! What are you saying, he was here from the very beginning, even before I came here!"
"I am not listening to any of your excuses Ami! I am talking to Dionne, so don't try to cover for him."
Surbhi spoke again, in a slightly enraged tone, while her eyes were glowing like embers from a volcanic fire, baffling Nitya even more.
'Where, at first, Nitya had been the one trying to clear up her confusion, now she had ended up in a confusion of her own! First of all, why had Surbhi referred to her as 'Ami'; and second, Dionne! Who was Dionne, and where had she heard the name before?'
