Reneé stepped out of the room and headed towards Dionne, wrapping all the anger germinating within her around her soul like a blanket, so that she could not only push the dragger inside his heart with her words, but could cover it up with anger in such a way that her own wounds weren't visible to anyone- not even herself.
But as soon as she reached the designated place, she saw a person standing from his position the moment she stepped inside the council room, and he was now looking at her in disbelief.
"You...you...you really exist!?"
A faint voice knocked on Reneé's ears, trying to make her realise what she had been thinking and imagining might be wrong, and the other person might also have his own story to narrate. But then her fears and guilt overcame her rational mind and started casting shadows over her thinking process again- they couldn't let her think logically, or else she might not be able to do what she was there to do.
