The rhythmic ticking of the clock was the only thing which signalled the passing seconds, along with the passing breaths of everyone.

No one had eaten anything after the eventful breakfast and no one was in the mood for it, the constant thought of living in a society with such outrageous norms was hammering in everyone's head.

'They all were feeling helpless, so helpless at how we all believe someone so blindly, but then again, trust and belief is the key for any relation- or even just survival. But no matter how much they were trying to deny it, reality was proving otherwise.'

After the doctor had left, no one had stepped out of the room, nor changed their positions. They all were still standing at their same positions, without even registering their own strength of standing upright, except for Mehul, who had probably fallen asleep by his sister's side after crying for a really long time.
