Hinata shakes his head away from his thought and he remembers needing to shower. He doesn't want to, for a second, show as he ponders the worst possibilities.
Water that's too warm might scald his wound and anything too cold would leave him uncomfortable. He flicks on the switch of the heater and he clenches his jaw, his expression morphing into one of discomfort as water passes over the surface of his wound.
He narrows his eyes and looks down to his injury, lightly pressing his fingers against the open injury, experimentally and it doesn't look anywhere close to healing despite it being almost a week since the incident that was responsible for it in the first place.
He presses his palm against the glass pane separating the shower and the rest of the bathroom.
Hinata makes a face of disturbance as he watches unclean blood run down the length of his leg and it's almost so deceiving that he wouldn't mistake it for yet another instance where he's bleeding.
