By the time Mizuki reaches Brandon's house towards the later part of the night, Emilia has already retired to bed because of her hard training.
Brandon's mother seems to be cleaning up some of the cutlery in the kitchen, and there is a Vegetable Casserole waiting to be eaten.
"I'm back," she announces as she walks through the door, making sure to close it tightly before it flies open because of the wind. It's significantly warmer inside than it is outside because of the nocturnal winds.
"There are some issues going on in Octantis so I'll be busy with paperwork for the next few nights. If you need anything, knock on the door and come in—otherwise, help yourself to the food on the table and make sure to turn off all the lights if you're the last in the kitchen," Brandon's mother explains frantically, looking around the room to ensure that she hasn't missed anything.
