Even then, she's overwhelmed by gratitude, unable to believe how Hotaru has always been around in the most convenient circumstances.
This way, it seems they've properly paid off their debts to each other but Mizuki feels like she'd just gotten her second chance at life and possibly, revenge.
"I live at the shrine," Hotaru says blankly. Mizuki furrows her brows.
"How come I never see you here? I come here every other day," she argues. Hotaru smirks, and it seems that that's her final response. She says nothing else to address the question but it really wouldn't make any sense to Mizuki why she would come here especially when the situation is so dire.
