Mizuki reciprocates the hug, a little less bold than she would be with someone closer but dedicated as much affection as she gets. When Shoma pulls away, she smiles with glassy eyes, wiping a single tear from her eyes.
"Sorry, I'm kind of emotional when it comes to friends. Take care of yourself, buddy," she smiles patting Mizuki on the shoulder.
Mizuki wonders how long it's been since she's heard someone use the word 'buddy'. She smiles comfortingly at Shoma, knowing she feels a little bad about their sudden parting too.
When she tries to slip in an offer for her to join for breakfast, Shoma holds up her hands and shakes her head vigorously as if she'd already expected the proposal.
"I have another booking elsewhere. If that's all, all the best on your journey and I'll be off on mine," is what she said before she scampers back onto her carriage.
