In the heat of the moment, the rings of charged water solidify into a shield, closing in around her, defending her from the tortures of the world. Mizuki stares at Queen right in the eye with the intensity of a supernova, fingers so tightly clenched around her daggers that the patterns on the hilt would've left imprints on her palm.
Digging her heel into the ground, she braces herself for running and upon sensing movement from her opponent, doesn't hesitate to step forward.
Tearing off her shabby, tattered bandages on her arms to let her wounds breathe, she ties them lazily around the curve of her shin, hissing in agony while she removes the pointed card protruding from it like a glass shard.
She does so until she's got her more painful wounds covered, or at least the ones that hurt because Queen lunges at her, cutting her off mid-action with a loud roar.
