Mizuki stiffens, rocking nervously in front of Adelia with a nervous expression. "So, what's your answer? Kaito-san can't provide me another room so you're all I can depend on," she chokes out an awkward laugh, which Kaito catches.
Kaito glimpses towards her quizzically but no one exactly notices. He thinks of asking, maybe interjecting in hopes of prying out information but the room is too stiff for him to risk it.
"We should walk inside. You don't mind if I steal her for a few minutes, do you?" Adelia gives a pointed look at Brandon, raising an eyebrow. He shakes his head, stepping back modestly as he holds out his palms to Mizuki.
She turns to him too, an expression frozen between nervousness and fear, fearful about how to persuade Adelia who's a little hard-headed at times. She's nice, of course, and she's willing to listen to anyone, even on long-winded tangents about intangible things.
