Mizuki shrugs, acknowledging his words as she thinks back to the many other occasions she has watched him cook. It has been a part of their daily rhythm for Hinata to work and Mizuki to watch—her lying by the couch as she tries to pick up numerous unknowns while occasionally turning over to check on Hinata's progress with the food.
Most of the time, she sees bits and pieces of him cutting meat between pockets of time, and pulling out containers of diced vegetables from previous meals.
It is already a big enough surprise in itself that Mizuki has managed to get away with not learning how to take responsibility for herself in the several months she has spent here.
Rather, there's no real need to be with Hinata around, him always taking charge of the domestic part of things even after scuffles or sour mornings.
