"As thanks, do accept these desserts we have left," Takemichi gestures to Saiko who nods and ambles to a cupboard, pulling out two small boxes. She ties them together with coloured rope and hands them to Mizuki, bearing a small and modest smile. Mizuki hugs it tightly, treasuring the sweets with utmost delicacy.
"We'll definitely drop by if we're not too busy on the day of the festival," Mizuki gives her word and Hinata flashes a polite smile of his own, tired to the point that his teeth have lost their shine but he looks like he's trying.
When he turns his head away, Mizuki watches as he drops his head, massaging his cheeks though he didn't do much. Slapping a hand over his eyes, he pulls it down his face, forcing himself to wake up. The day is far from over.
Mizuki's heart sinks at this sight, maybe out of sympathy and maybe it's because it's Hinata so as a brief form of encouragement, she pats him reassuringly on the back.
