Adelia warns, and Mizuki closely manages to dodge a surge of magic flying towards her.
Adelia raises her hand and just in time, she manages to manifest a magic circle quick enough to act as their shield. "I don't have a lot of magic since my stock of olive branches are running out. You're going to have to take this on your own."
Mizuki hears a crackle and whips her head towards the sound, seconds away from being hit right in the face by an insurmountable amount of corrupt magic.
"Oi, I can't be telling you that you need to fight," Mizuki flinches at the sound of a loud voice that snaps her out of her trance. It's only at this point that she realises she's frozen in place, that her limbs have tensed up and she doesn't know where to move.
