"Unfortunately, I have to and it seems about time for you three to go as well. Alas, I only wanted to offer you a proper farewell before going out of courtesy, since it's always nice to see someone you're close to on the first day of snowfall," Adelia rambles, switching her mind completely off the original topic.
"I'm relieved Mizuki isn't in tears right now. At least this won't be as sappy as the several other farewells we have had. I'm sure this won't be any different," she remarks snarkily, voice infused with the same subtle sassiness as before. Mizuki resists the urge to scoff upon being called out for her usually sappiness when it comes to goodbyes.
"The least you could do is be nice to me on the last day we're seeing each other," she protests, and she's sure she would've rolled her eyes had it not been for the level of respect she has for Adelia as her long-time mentor.
