Mizuki lifts her head to Zephyrus who, once the wraith collapses dead on the ground, simply falls backwards onto her back almost comically. She spreads her arms out and there is a loud thud once her body hits the ground, making Mizuki wince.
She furrows her eyebrows, and suddenly there's no movement from the other girl that she starts to crawl forward to ensure that the latter isn't dead.
"Don't die on me," she says out of panic, poking Zephyrus in the cheek. A blood trail is left on the ground from where she had slid from, and her wounds only burn with more intensity.
"I can't die even if I wanted to, old lady," Zephyrus chuckles, but it's tired and her voice wavers from the sheer amount of exasperation that overwhelms her in tides. She places her arm over her face such that her wrist can cover her eyes and then she lets out a laugh.
