Mizuki slides off the bed, and it's at this point where she realises that the floor is freezing against her bare feet. She recoils, shocked awake by the sudden change in temperature. She jolts and Brandon notices, rubbing his own arms to show that it isn't only her suffering from the unprecedented coldness.
"Gosh—why is it so cold?" she curses, walking quickly out the door. A quick look outside gives her the impression that it's much later than it is, causing her heart to almost tumble out of place.
"Winter's coming. It'll only get colder from here," he says, but by the end of his sentence, Mizuki has already fled from the room to change into more fitting attire for her later adventure.
She has an old set of clothes hanging on the hooks of the bathroom—some loose shirts and a long skirt, assuming she won't be fighting any monsters while interacting with a little girl.
