The Headquarters are truly a sight that cannot be fathomed through mere words.
As Mizuki steps inside it, this time proudly with her closest friends at her side, she finds her breath taken from her all over again like her first time.
The high walls are decorated with streamers and balloons and the mural on the ceiling looks especially polished. Around her are the familiar faces of mages meandering down past the reception, into the massive hall for the ceremony.
"You never told me it was this beautiful in here," Brandon comments, breathless.
"I think it's difficult to explain what it looks like here in words," she replies, and he doesn't protest, agreeing with her immediately. She proceeds to the concierge, who immediately recognises her without needing an introduction.
It takes a while for Mizuki to reply that it's one of the women she met during her first time here, the one who was present during the sign-ups for the tests.
