I've had thousands of scorned men and women come to my shores, venting their sorrows to me and the never-ending waves, hoping they would be washed away."
A wistful smile plays on Nereus' lips. "I have seen some drown, in grief and the other devilish emotions that can swallow a mortal whole. I will not say that you are wrong to want to work on your own but if you are honest with them, you can still have the luxury of working on your own."
