"Wait, Mizuki, was it something I said?!" Brandon calls out to her, rising from his seat as well. Panic rises in his tone as he worries endlessly whether he'd said something to hurt her feelings, and when she doesn't show any intention of turning back, sits back down dejectedly.
Hinata's eyes widen in shock. He reaches his hand out to pull her back, but only manages to brush his fingertips against her wrist before she's gone.
"Should I go after her?" Brandon asks, glancing towards the door.
"Maybe she wants time alone," Hinata laments, slumping against the armchair with a disturbed expression, images of Mizuki's countless injuries flashing over his mind.
He wonders—where could she have gone, and what would've happened if she was unarmed and wasn't careful enough to put armour on herself?
