"Nothing much, really. He was mentioning how he needed to meet up with some of the other wealthy families in Sigma, and then some members of the Association. We used to be so free when we were younger and now that we're older, he's so swamped with work," Hinata recalls as he dawdles towards the beach.
"Regardless, we can't be late," he interjects, veering off his earlier sentiments and dragging Mizuki eagerly towards the beach.
"Is there a specific time to do this?" she raises an eyebrow.
Hinata nods intelligently, fixing his grip on the lantern so it's in a more comfortable position. She scans her surroundings distractedly, nose catching the char smell of crisp barbeque in the air.
Mizuki frowns, wanting to flee in the direction of the food stalls and indulge herself.
