Hinata and Mizuki leave with the promise of returning the following evening so they can go to the festival together. By the time they step out of the house, night has fallen over the city and lulled the residents into bed under the blanket of stars.
Mizuki lets out a yawn and leans her head against Hinata, walking with slow and heavy steps. "Why are you so tired?" he asks, wrapping an arm around her waist to hold her up. She stifles a second yawn.
"Must've used up my social battery. I was so nervous about leaving a good first impression but all my energy is gone now," she remarks softly. She closes her eyes momentarily before opening them again, taking in the elegance of her surroundings through heavy-lidded eyes.
Hinata presses his fist against his lips as he stifles a chuckle, pink dusting his cheeks upon realising she'd been so worried over nothing.
