Soon enough, the conversation dies into silence, or not that much of a silence because Emory talks about wanting to go inside for her afternoon nap and Emilia agrees—well, willingly? Most probably not.

Before they leave, Mizuki asks, "By the way, what were you trying to do outside when we came? You looked very strange," she raises an eyebrow in doubt too. Emory's head whips towards Emilia, a scandalised expression on her face. In moments like this, they really do feel like identicals in personality as well. 

"Mama told you that if you try to sneak out to play one more time, you're going to get into soooo much trouble. What if you break one of her pots again? Or the entire row. Mama's growing okra, you know," Emory wags a finger.

Emilia glances around surreptitiously before quickly hushing her sister and pressing a stern index finger against her lips.  "Come on, if you tell Mama, I'll be in so much trouble."
