"Hey, the woman's gone," Mizuki remarks, poking Brandon in the forearm to get his attention. He raises his eyebrow in confusion, pausing mid-track to look back to the shoreline. Upon squinting his eyes, he sees a figure in the water, the woman's striking blonde hair easily recognisable.
Surrounding her, the water is a glowing shade of turquoise, dirtied by the dark blue silhouettes of fish beneath her. She seems to be floating even through the water level's deep and cold, and almost contaminated because of splinters from passing ships.
Brandon decides against questioning too much.
"She's over there," he says while gesturing towards the water, turning his head back. Mizuki, on the other hand, can't seem to get her mind off the woman, staring at her pointedly. For a moment, the enigmatic lady seems to turn her head, her icy eyes hollow.
