"Thank you," Mizuki sputters, not knowing what else to say. "I didn't mean to ramble. We can start heading back right about now," she says to break the silence, slowly standing up so she doesn't pull a nerve. Shoma holds her wrist, tugging her back downwards. Mizuki falls with a thud, earning a surprised reaction from the coachman who hadn't expected to yank at her wrist as hard as she did.
"Actually, could you close your eyes for a second?" Shoma asks after mumbling a quick apology. By this point, Mizuki's starting to question her intentions, narrowing her eyes at Shoma skeptically while trying to read her expression for anything off.
"I promise it won't be anything bad. I'll just need a minute. You can count!" she comforts. Mizuki purses her lips doubtfully, hesitantly closing her eyes as she sits up stiffly. For a few moments, she feels nothing at all, hearing nothing at all but cicadas chirping around in the covers of the grass.
