"Huh? Him?" Mizuki slowly straightens her back. "Wait, how'd you—DID YOU FOLLOW ME ALL THE WAY THERE?!" she gapes.
"What?" Hinata narrows his eyes at her as if she's gone crazy. "If you spent the night with Brandon, why would I follow you?! I'm not shameless," he spits coldly. Mizuki makes a face, wondering where he's making assumptions from.
"Brandon? What do you mean, 'Brandon'?!"
"You spent the night with him, didn't you?! That's why you have to sneak in through the stupid balcony!" Hinata flails, making semi-aggressive gestures towards the balcony. Mizuki folds her arms sternly, cheeks puffed in anger.
"Come on, I was in a completely different place. Why else would I be so ragged right now?! I managed to break into Fissure's lair or whatever. You should give me more credit for the things I do on behalf of both of us," Mizuki raises her chin obstinately. Hinata's rage dissipates and he instantly falls into silence, gawking at her incredulously.
