The night was still basking the towering castles in the sanctuary with a moonlight glory ..
no one was awake at the time .. to witness the chaos happening right inside their kingdom's .. even the most experienced royal gate knights had been taken out swiftly without trace ...
each castle had its own enemy to collide against ..
an army of knights who are experienced in the fields of battle and blood ... causing mayhem ... in every kingdom ... except for one which was kept special for 16 people with shadowy masks and powerful attires ... they had entered the outer layer of the kingdom without resistance as they tried to slaughter everything in their paths ..
however to their disappointment ... they couldn't even out their fingers on the people living in this castle much less make them sweat ...
they had even tried their most stealthiest powers to destroy them but all their efforts had been in vain
....
"It seems like we've made the right choice in coming into this kingdom brother .. now I know why the council is very wary of her .. this is one very powerful being ... balance needs to be kept ... there should only be two who are strong

evil does not exist without good .. and the other way around .. we can't have an overlord overlooking all of us .. " the one with the grey ponytail said in a cold distant voice ..
"Ye two are very overestimating yourselves ... we're not infiltrating this kingdom for naught .. for there is a beast that needs not to be awakened from its slumber .. take heed of my warning ye two ..." an individual with one big hammer with numerous dark red spikes protruding from the hammer .. his bulky muscles sticking out from his chest armour ..
no couter .. no lower cannon of vambrace and no gauntlets ...
the two brothers looked at the large man and shook their heads before advancing forward towards the gigantic gate leading to the castle with their weapons drawn out ...
"Ha .. sometimes .. even with our long time dwelling in this sanctuary ... our heads seem to be more confused than we usually are .." a short old man 3'9 tall ... said with a long beard neatly let down ... his head was completely shaved except for the part at the back of his head ..
he had a grey long ponytail reaching his waist ... and just when it reached the bottom it had what seemed like a small steel bowtie with strange lines that drawn a z pattern with a glowing dark purple hue ...
"Sid .. you sure are right ... we couldn't just walk right up into this kingdom without a keen eye and without enough power .. *sigh* it looks like our empire has fallen .. they have even grown weak even to stupidity ... this isn't just any kingdom .. we're present inside the great •man's• home .. if he was strong enough to shape this realm .. what limits does her princess have .." another individual said ... however unlike all of the other old men .. he was the only who seemed to be younger than all of them .. but judging from how he addressed the old man ..
it was obvious that he was no mere young man ...
he wore an elegant robe ... adorned with white and silver runes which shone even through the darkness harboured by all of his acquaintances ..
"I agree with you old friend ... this is not going to be easy .. we should at least create a much clearer strategy than that fool gave us .. *sigh* he may be related to us somehow .. however .. we're still his elders .. we should have our own choices .. and we're also capable of having our own strategies ... don't you all agree brothers .." the man who just responded to Leviathan inquired as he turned his gaze to the 11 individuals infront of him ...
he couldn't help but shake his head after he witnessed their empire when he saw the two brothers who went up to the door to find a way in ..
he himself didn't even get himself to do whatever they were thinking ..
"Brother Lee ... of course we do .. but you see .. he has enough power to control us as he wished .. after all he has the devourer of souls ... none of us here can stop him unless we took it away from him which could prove to be a very impossible task .."
"Sorry to interrupt Simon ... but shouldn't we as the elders take charge and choose a new leader .. we might not be the most trusted individuals to the council but clearly they know what's at stake here .. they themselves are to be affected by this madness if that boy continues with this .."
the individuals nodded behind their masks before they all scattered within the kingdom in a matter of twoths ..

"Hmph ... those old men think they're better than us ... we shall show them our might brother ..." one of the twin brothers with two buns on his head said before striking with the two duel axes at another point of the gate which also seemed to not move even with their greatest attacks ..
thy had arrived here a moment ago and started attacking the gate continuously without halting even though they knew that their efforts were in vain ..
"Curse that little girl ... !!! Argh ...!!" the other old man with a ponytail raged as he swung his two magnificent twin blades at the gate with his full strength exerted ..
and just when his blades were about to make contact with it ...
the gate opened itself .. showing no teleportation at the entrance ..
rather showing two individuals wearing golden armour ..
their eyes locked onto the two old men who were mercilessly striking the indestructible unmovable gate with no scratches .. not any marks to show that they were truly using their full strength ..
"Our highness is sleeping .. why are you trying so hard to wake her up from her slumber .." James inquired with a deep frown on his face unsheathing a dark green sword with a hilt like roots ... it's scabbard golden ...
James squinted his eyes as he released his pressure towards the two who only looked back at him nonchalantly behind the shadowy masks ...
the two old men removed their shadowy masks and revealed their youthful faces .. despite their hairs being grey ..
infact they looked so young .. they could be mistaken for little teenagers ..
the two old 'young' men smiled brightly at James ...
they had met him before when they captured him when he tried 'reasoning' with their liege who ordered for him to be imprisoned ...
they have witnessed his love for battle and desire to destroy every member of the Strong clan ..
even though they might belong to the 16 Orders of the elders ... they knew beforehand that the two guards infront of them were way beyond normal guards ..
the aura James released increased the excitement within them ... although they seemed to be still and standing firmly .. their souls were shook from it only ..
"I won't try to ask again since you evil doers always do evil .. I shall end your lives here and send you to the gates of hell ... do not be alarmed .. parts of your good souls will remain in heaven .." James said one last time before he swung his sword nonchalantly at the two vertically sending an arc of bright green flames vigorously dancing and burning through the crystal floor turning the crystal to dust with just a swing of his blade ..
the two enveloped their bodies with dark black aura ..
however since they were in Christina's kingdom .. every evil thing was banned ...
their aura was dispelled as they were forced to take the attack head-on ...
they raised their twin weapons in the air and used them as shields when the arc connected with their weapons sending them into the air ..
however despite being overwhelmed they smiled whilst mid air before adjusting their bodies correctly in the air and stood their in the air looking down on them ..
"Brother .. I told you that .. this one is very strong and very exciting ... he's my type .. how about you go for that one .. I'll take this one .." the two twins nodded their before their bodies disappeared as afterimages followed behind landing straight infront of James and Aethelu who had long thought of this battle one sided ..
although he knew that he could've taken care of the two old men .. they would've given him much trouble unlike James who could defeat them without his help ...
he averted his gaze from his brother before setting it onto to the twin with buns on his head ..
"Old Storm .. what is the meaning of this ..." Aethelu inquired ... his hands travelling down to the diamond hilt of his sword ... sending a chilling aura towards the old man ..
"Hohoho ... be at ease .. Aethelu .. and please do not address me as Old Storm ... we're not friends ... I am Pax Strong ... " the man with two buns said named Pax ... said as he clashed his two duel axes against each other ... dark purple sparks flying about ...
in an instant ... his body was covered in what felt like an invisible barrier that prevented any holy enchantments from breaking him apart ...
his two buns untied and his hair fell on his shoulders ..
and then his hair turned dark black ... with a sizzling black aura enveloping his face .. making him look faceless ..
his duel axes released an oppressive pressure as well causing the crystal floor to melt under his feet while he stood in his spot unmoving as his figure and aura grew more and more powerful as dark energy started channeling around his body forming a cocoon of dark red energy whilst the head part remained with the dark sizzling aura ..
"I pray unto the lord to forgive my sins for what I am to do as of now ... and may he be merciful and grant me power ... I shall uphold my words and lower my head infront of your punishment ... forgive this one's transgression your lordship .." Aethelu said as he knelt down and looked into the heavens above him with clear guilt flashing through his eyes ..
after saying his last line .. he stood up and drew his sword from its sheath ... revealing it's glorious white blade ... that was overflowing with a white-goldish hue ...
and in a mere twoth .. a powerful gust aura picked up just around his body ...
and disappeared just as it had appeared .. revealing Aethelu ... with no changes or any significant boost of power ..
however the old man knew not to underestimate the guard because he knew he might be in his strongest form as of now ..
Aethelu raised his sword upon the heavens and muttered a few words as a giant star descended from above and engulfed him whole ...
his aura, armour, eyes .. hair .. had changed drastically as the star was absorbed by him ..
infront of Pax was what you would call an angel ... or perhaps ... a cherub ..
"I am with God .. and I will forever be with him .. he is me .. all that he creates shall fall due to transgression .. Pax .. your life shall have a purpose in heaven .. and your sins shall be forgiven .." Aethelu waved his hand .. as a dominant aura flashed before Pax's eyes catching him off guard .. and destroying him whole ..
an eerie silence followed after .. with Aethelu looking beyond the debris with a nonchalant expression ..
"Your soul will be saved ..." after he said those words .. he waved his hand again .. clearing the dust away revealing a pile of ash and a floating human figure with a red touch on his hands ..
before the soul could even run away or do anything .. it was suddenly caught by gigantic golden chains that came from above .. wrapping around his hips .. hands .. neck ... feet .. legs ...
"What have you done to me ..!!" Pax panicked as he saw his see through body ..
he had turned powerful yet .. he couldn't even lay a single attack on him as he was suddenly struck by an arc of white light ...
he felt no pain .. nor any feeling ..
but he saw himself being separated from his body .. his flesh and blood .. before he saw himself being turned to ash .. before it withered away like he had never existed anyway ..
and the next thing he knew .. chains that were filled with holy energy enveloped him .. and made him succumb before he was devoured by the earth beneath him sending him far away where he had never been before ...
a place he himself could not call home despite being so evil and demonic ..
