The four didn't even realise that so many minutes had passed as they were too absorbed in her story ...
they didn't even know how to comprehend the story and Christina's origins ..
"I didn't expect it to be filled with so much mystery ..." Aethelu spoke up first and the others just looked at Christina with awe ...
Sosuke was still in his thoughts whilst absorbing all the information and the storyline ...
'Why did they attack ..??' he asked her telepathically ...
'Sosuke let it go .. I do not wish to talk about it ... ' she responded with her head lowered down ..
"Elder sister doesn't this mean that you have authority over this dimension .. can you not just dispose of that 'man' ... ?" ... James voiced out his opinion with clenched fists ...
"Father always told me not to use prestigious authority .. even if I am above authority itself .. when father created this dimension .. he told us to leave for people to come in first and take over .. and then come in whilst we handed over our authority over them .. that is why our authority is established in this part of the dimension instead of being established on top of the Council's Law House .."
the others stood quite and tried comprehending what they had just heard ..
they all fell into silence and one by one they kept leaving until it was only Sosuke and Christina in the throne room ...
"I apologize for not informing you earlier about my life Sosuke .. I didn't think it was necessary ... for the first time in my life .. I had felt happy ... and I didn't want all of that to go away ..." Christina said as she stood up from her seat and sat infront of him and held his hands ...
"Please forgive me ... the reason why they attacked is because I had something precious to them ... inside of me .. and they wanted it ... and even now there are still more of them ..." she cried as her grip became tighter and tighter ..
"Father said it was a heartstone ... the Inferno heartstone .. the Inferno witch ordered me to kill my siblings .. and I did so ... I couldn't control anything .. she made me kill my family ... and through the heartstone I was nothing even now ... "
"I'm really sorry ... I thought that if I told you .. you would go for your own life and leave me .. because of the destruction I bring ..." she then fell into his arms embracing him whilst he stared into nothingness
he hadn't even moved his arms ever since she opened her mouth ...
and even so Christina held tight to his embrace never letting go afraid that he was going to leave ...
as she was sobbing Sosuke pulled her tightly and closer to his chest ...
he embraced her tightly ... holding her firm to his chest and his eyes closed .. whilst multiple emotions flowed inside his consciousness ...
"I will never forsake you my love ..." that was the only words that went out from his mouth ..
specifically that was all he could say ...
he didn't have the power to retaliate against the Inferno race and there was still the chance that they had gotten stronger during the past few eons ..
"I don't have the power to protect you .. but I have the power to love you even in the depths of your despair ..." Christina was able to catch up to what he uttered as she fell into silence .. ... she blinked her eyes a couple of times ..as she stared straight into nothingness as her sobs echoed inside the throne room ..
"You're not leaving me ..?? I'm glad .." she said happily as she returned back into his arms ...
"I'm never going to leave you Christina ... even if hell falls over you .. I will stay by your side until our terminus ..." Christina's heart flt warmth wrapping around it as she heard the words coming out of Sosuke's mouth ...
the two stayed in each other's embrace for quite some time ... and just after. Christina had calmed down and found herself at ease ..... she let go and kissed him on the lips ..
"Thank you .. and I apologize ... I wish I could've told you about it even before telling the others ... " she smiled wryly as Sosuke caressed her cheek ..
she tilted her head to the side resting her face on his palm ...
"Enough about apologies now .. so what happened to James ... ?" Christina sat up slowly and rested her head on his shoulder before relaying everything that had happened in her absence ..
"So that 'man' is forcefully getting you into marriage ... *sigh* .. if only I was strong ... I would've never let you go through all of this ..." he said stroking her hair of which she enjoyed with a smile sprouting on her face ...
"I appreciate that you want to protect me ..but you shouldn't let your emotions take you over ... and power shouldn't be used for extreme force .. it should be used for good ... " Sosuke sat quietly with a smile on his face ..
*sigh*
"Okay ... tell me ... how strong is that man ...??"
"He's only below me ... but he's the strongest inside the whole dimension excluding me ... but he's also below the council's prowess as well ... but .." she then halted in her words as if recalling something from her memories ..
"He had undeniably the strongest power ... I once heard of it and I once got to see it with my eyes ... it wasn't a good thing to imprint inside my mind .." in all honesty that mysterious power could only be considered as nothing ... even if the power was overpowered .. one thing couldn't be ignored ..
she was stronger than people anticipate ..
"I heard from the servant in his home that it was family's bloodline power brought down from their progenitor ... " she continued rubbing her hand on Sosuke's chest ..
"... he used this power to bring many dimensions to their knees ... and not in a good way .... he sent many families to abyss ... and even now he threatened to use this power to make the council to succumb to him .. and only serve him as the overlord ..."
Sosuke couldn't help but be confused ... this wasn't an actual threat but something that he was going to do even if they met with his conditions ...
and if the council was as strong as Christina said they were .. couldn't they just combine their forces and take the whole family down ... even if such terrifying power was within his grasp ... it could only be wielded by one person in a family ..
in his mind the council had enough power to destroy the whole clan but why weren't they doing anything ... he already understood Christina's reasons ... but not the council's reasons ..
"I know what you're thinking ... the council is strong ... enough to take all the clans on at once .. destroying everything without receiving any injury ..
the reason is simple ... he has something precious and destructive in his possession that even the council have to take stead carefully when dealing with him .."
