Groans could be heard in the throne room as Christina stroked a young girl's golden hair and when the girl finally woke up from her peaceful rest she gazed at the beauty towering over her or you could say the beauty who was giving her a shoulder , Calipso's face flushed with redness when she saw what kind of state she was in and it made her feel like she used Christina's kindness for her own good ,to eliminate all bad thoughts but when she came to understand that Christina was the one who laid her head on her chest she stopped panicking a bit and took this chance to kneel just infront of her "Please forgive me You Great One for leaving your side in the useless state I was in" Christina shook her head giggling and she covered her mouth with the long sleeves of her robes "Don't worry little one I was the one who put you in that state anyway, so if you'd like you can just rest on my chest again" Calipso looked at her briefly before walking back to the single stair she had occupied when she was still resting on Christina's chest ,she laid her head on Christina's chest and just like an hour ago the kind aura had taken advantage of Calipso that she was absorbed in her dreamland.
Calipso fell asleep again and this time she's the one that rested on her chest even though Christina offered , Christina recalled the time her family was all together chatting while eating sweet foods ,salty,spicy and sour but that's what made her love these foods because her parents would often make her happy by cooking them, and after dinner she would sleep on her mother's lap while her mother rested on his father's shoulder looking at the starry night and the shining stars ,she recalled the happiness she felt in her heart back then and less the loneliness she was currently feeling.. even her kindness couldn't just cure her loneliness , she smiled when the memories rewind in her head with her eyes closed seemingly in meditation but she was actually trying to remember and savour the moments she had with her family in her head. An hour later the air suddenly twisted and a cracking sound could be heard coming from the twisting space , a white portal appeared infront of Christina who was not even alarmed by the situation but one minute later two figures in golden armour appeared before Christina and after they walked through the portal the portal closed. The guards didn't hesitate as they began walking toward Christina "How did it go?" Christina asked with her eyes closed "It went nicely my dear elder sister" James gave a gentle bow to Christina after answering the question, the two guards walked to their seats and began talking about how they had solved the town's problems but they didn't mention their kindness toward the thieves and bad giants living in the town , after telling their story Calipso started opening her eyes "Elder sister if it's okay to ask, how long has she been sleeping?" Aethelu asked "She slept for 83minutes" Christina responded opening her eyes , and followed by Calipso who woke up mentally and physically "Sleeping beauty" James said mockingly as he chuckled causing Calipso's face to flush with redness , Aethelu then put Calipso's hand in his leading her to a luxurious room that had golden decorations and the bed sheets were carved with pure diamonds but their silk felt warm despite being carved with a mineral that's known to be cold "Young Miss Calipso this is going to be your chambers from now on" Aethelu said with a short gentle smile , Calipso nodded and collapsed on the bed before Aethelu walked out .. she sighed and closed her eyes.
Christina sat on the stairs talking to James about their lives throughout the days she was on her journey building peace and friendship all around the place "As expected of you Elder sister" James said smiling brightly with his eyes sparkling with admiration , they talked all about her adventures but suddenly she frowned when she brought up a certain name that brought a chill down James's spine and they both went silent with Christina's head lowered in sadness and anger "So elder sister what are you going to do now that it has finally come to this" James with a concerned face while his expression remaining nonchalant , Christina just sat there and told him that there was nothing she could do much less retaliate against 'him' but that displeased James who was now boiling with anger "Elder sister you're powerful we can erase him from existence!" he exclaimed with his fists tightened "No James that's not our nature " Christina said with a friendly yet unsatisfied smile "But elder sister people will always take advantage of our kindness if we keep on being kind even to our enemies" he said standing up , but whatever he said never pleased Christina one bit even though it was for her safety and what bothered James was the kingdom was always looked down at even though they were the powerful ones to the other royalties they were nothing but overpowered ants. Aethelu walked in on them with a questioning face "What's wrong elder sister .. brother James ?" Aethelu asked out of curiosity feeling the tension in the atmosphere but they didn't answer him and he figured it out himself as this was always what James debated about "Brother James let's just accept Elder sister's decision" Aethelu said with a worried expression.
"Elder brother Aethelu I apologise but I can't stand here and watch our elder sister cry inwardly just because of that wicked blasphemous man, not only did he threaten her but he even put on a timer for her to make a decision, elder sister has done everything for us to live and I want to repay her, even if I anger her atleast I would have done something that could relieve her stress and anger boiling for that man" he said frowning everytime he brought up 'that man' and of course Aethelu frowned as well but didn't say anything because if James made a decision he wouldn't just back up on it or forfeit from his promise and it was impossible to change his mind because all the decisions he had made so far were never broken and If he promised something especially if it was for Christina the chances of trying to change his mind did not exist and furthermore they could bring harm and danger to him.
"James please , I can't risk getting you hurt after I had just lost my father I can't afford to lose you as well" Christina said with a serious expression but her pleading was in vain as it hadn't worked on him "Like I said I will go against your own orders just to make you happy" with that being said James said with his hand tightened around his golden sheath , Aethelu and Christina watched as he went out of the throne room "Elder sister as much as I hate to say this James is actually right on this one , if we can't protect you while you're not in our care then we are not worthy of our current title" Christina tried her best to keep the tears in her eyes from coming out and kept trying to hold back Aethelu and listen to what he said. Eventually she couldn't get through both of these guards at least she got through Aethelu , James was still absent meaning he might have been planning , furthermore the future was unseen and untold.
