The fact that the Black Phantoms had just threatened his family really put him in a foul mood, and he paced around Changming's house in order to cool himself off.
The sky outside was dark, and night had already befallen. On his way down to the living room, Xiajun peered out a window in the hallway and noticed how bad of a condition Changming's front yard was in. Tsking, he went on his way, thinking he would bring it up in his next conversation with Changming, whenever it may be, and ask him what he wanted him to do with it till he recovered.
He went into the kitchen and looked in the fridge to see if he could fix himself something to eat. It was merely a small fee Changming would have to pay since it was Xiajun who was guarding his home in his absence. He found an old can of diet coke in the back of the fridge and a wrapped up chicken breast salad which looked like it could be takeout from a couple nights ago.
