They arrived with the ringing of sirens, and when they did, they brought along a crowd with them. By late afternoon, when the sun was at its peak and everyone was wiping sweat off their necks, The Crystal House was surrounded by hoards of people and a flurry of police cars.
Barely anything as exciting had happened to the neighborhood before, so everybody watched keenly as armed policemen made their way through the entrance of The Crystal House, the one hidden behind a run-down restaurant and an old street hawker's sunglasses stall. Whilst some of them went in, other guarded the front and back entrance to stop random people from trespassing inside, because it looked like that was exactly what they were planning to do.
