Reva is an excellent diver. Reva even dives to the bottom of the deep sea. Charlos did not dare to approach. His ears felt like pressure; it hurt quite a bit. After being satisfied diving for almost three hours, they finally rose to the surface.
Reva got into the speed boat first, Reva's hand-pulled Charlos up. His body and the oxygen load on his back felt very heavy. Charlos looked exhausted, but Reva laughed.
"Who is scared of jellyfish?" Reva mocked.
"You're scared too!" cried Charlos. They both laugh. "Oh, Reva. I'm so tired. Are you still want to fishing? I want to rest first."
"Okay!"
They took off their suits, and then Reva continued the adventure by fishing. Charlos threw himself into the chair and covered his face with his hat while Reva sat on the edge of the speed boat with a fishing rod in hand.
"Charl! Are you sleeping?"
"Hmmm ...."
Charlos remained in his position. Reva poked Charlos's feet. "Charl!"
"Hmmm ...," he muttered.
"Come on! Don't sleep yet! Come with me fishing," said Reva. Reva tickled Charlos's feet. Instantly, Charlos took aback.
"Ouch, Rev! Don't do that!" Reva laughed out loud. "What's going on?" Charlos tossed his hat aside, and then he sat down next to Reva with his eyes were half-open. Anyway, Reva smiled sweetly.
"Are you tired, Charl?"
"Yes. I am." Charlos looked at Reva while frowning. "You don't get tired, do you. There's a lot of energy of yours." Charlos stroked Reva's hair which was still wet. And then, Reva laughed.
"Charl, what will you do if I die?"
"What are you talking about?" Charlos scratched behind his ear and felt the grains of sand melt on his finger. "Don't talk like that, Rev!"
"Seriously, Charl! Answer me. If I die, what will you do?"
Charlos snorted loudly. "First, you won't die because I will definitely help you. Second, if you ..." Charlos rolled his eyes. "die, I will ...."
"Okay! That means I don't have to die," Reva interrupted. "Because if you die first, Charl, I'll kill the person who killed you and then I'll kill myself."
Charlos stared.
"I'm serious, Charl. You are mine. I will never let anyone take you from me." Reva felt a tremor in the hand. Charlos automatically looked at the sea.
"Oh! Strikes!" Reva pulled the rod up while Reva's left hand rotated the shaft. It looks like Reva's catch is quite big this time. Charlos helps Reva pull the fishing rod.
"Rev, why don't you wear gloves? You'll hurt your hands!" Charlos's voice choked.
"You're there to help me!" Reva answered quite loudly.
They are both struggling with fishing rods. The fish continued to struggle, and its silvery body was starting to surface. After struggling for half an hour, they screamed in unison and finally managed to pull the fish onto the speed boat. Charlos helped lift it with a net. The fish continued to wiggle as it ran out of oxygen. With agile, Reva released the hook on the fish's mouth.
Giant Trevally.
They cheered with joy. And then, Charlos took a photo of Reva holding the struggling fish. A wide smile graced Reva's face, which was red from the heat. Reva's curly hair fluttered in the sea breeze. Then Reva released the fish back into the sea.
"Poor fish. Its mouth is a little bloody. However, that was amazing, Charl! I'm so happy!" Reva wrapped the arms around Charlos's neck, and they hugged.
"You're great, Rev!" said Charlos. "You're great at anything, by the way. Four thumbs up for you!"
Reva let go of the hug. "How about four kisses?"
Charlos broadly smiled as Reva kissed his forehead, left cheek, right cheek, and finally his lips.
The speed boat is moving towards the mainland. After that, they continued to have lunch in the Tanjung Benoa area. Charlos's face stung from the sun.
This time, they tried Balinese food. Charlos ordered Chicken Betutu. It is a chicken dish with spices, and it is cooked until the spices seep into it. The colour of the meat is slightly greenish because of the herbs, and the aroma is very delicious seductive.
Then there is the red snapper soup which is equally spicy and garnished with cucumber slices. They were very excited for lunch because they had been very tired of diving since early in the morning.
Reva tried the chicken, and suddenly Reva's eyes widened. "Oh, my goodness! Charlos, this is so delicious! Wow!"
Reva scooped again and once again admired it. "Why did we go to a French restaurant that time? I prefer Indonesian food, Charl."
Charlos snorted, laughing. "Okay. Next time we'll just have Indonesian cuisine, okay?"
In Charlos's heart, he hoped that there would be 'next time for them. There was a feeling of relief when he saw Reva eat with such enthusiasm.
Is it possible that Reva will feel at home in Indonesia and choose to stay here forever? Charlos hopes Reva is still in Indonesia not only because of the friendly atmosphere and good food but also because Reva really wanted to be with Charlos forever. It seemed he didn't need to doubt that.
"Are you happy, Rev?" asked Charlos.
"Of course! Bali is such an amazing place. It's really fun here." Reva smiled sweetly.
Charlos replied with a worried smile. He knew that he no longer wanted to be separated from Reva. Suddenly, Rissa's face flashed in his mind. Charlos wasn't really thinking about it, but somehow it just popped up.
In the evening, they took a walk along Kuta Square. Charlos pointed to a giant guitar with a red light. "Let's go there!"
Charlos and Reva were relaxing, drinking at the cafe but not getting drunk. After returning from the café, they took pictures.
A foreign tourist approached them and offered them to be the photographer. Reva embraced Charlos, and when the flash flashed, Reva suddenly kissed his cheek. That made Charlos gasp. The tourist returned the camera to Reva's hands.
"Thank you, Sir!" Reva exclaimed with a big smile and then walked first. Charlos followed behind Reva.
"What are you doing?" Charlos narrowed his eyes.
Reva just laughed as if there was no burden in this life.
