That day was Sunday. Sunlight entered the window of Charlos's bedroom, dazzling his eyes. He slowly opened his eyes as he squirmed on the bed. His whole body felt achy.
Last night, he was troubled thinking about Rissa. He couldn't sleep. He could only fall asleep after three am.
Charlos sat in his chair, checking his cell phone. He glanced at the clock on the wall; it was already nine am.
Rissa did not want to pick up the phone from him and did not answer his messages at all. Actually, Charlos wanted to go to her house, but he didn't. Rissa might need some time to herself.
However, it really hurt Charlos. Whenever they have a problem, they don't immediately solve it on the same day. They procrastinate too often.
Finally, Charlos decided to take a shower and get ready for breakfast. His mother enjoyed dim sum and a small cup of Oolong tea alone in the dining room. Meanwhile, his stepfather was swimming in the pool.
