"I dated a guy once, but it didn't go well. He demands too much and for sure . . . he's not as handsome as you," said Gavin.
"Thank you," replied Charlos politely.
"Oh yeah, may I ask you something?"
"Just ask."
"Have you ever had a boyfriend yourself?" Gavin asked.
Charlos was running out of patience. Gavin's question completely exceeded his expectations. But Charlos should have understood because Gavin felt sure and confident that Charlos was gay just like him. Charlos thought, when would he explain Gavin's mistake to him?
"Sorry. I think I'm too sassy." Gavin smirked.
"It's all right," Charlos said, holding back from gritting his teeth.
Then Gavin smiled sweetly, not feeling the least bit guilty about asking Charlos such a thing. He didn't want to tell Gavin anything about his past relationship with Reva because that would only expose him to disgrace.
