"So… What brought you here?"
As Hiroto and Sato was making their way through the barren field, Hiroto decided to start a conversation, since there was nothing else to do other than walking and talking, and because he wasn't the type to sit still all day.
"What do you mean by that? As a reply, Sato Ato looked at Hiroto in confusion because the question of his was nowhere near specific. It had a lot of meaning, and Hiroto could actually be asking about a different situation than Sato might assume. His questions could mean, what brought you to a decision to volunteer in hunting for the team, or, what motivated you to become a Ni-inji, or perhaps, even something as simple as what method Sato had used to get to the Northen City.
Thankfully, Hiroto gave Sato a direct answer.
