The priest was baffled when he came to know of the overseer's being dead. He asked Xin Feng to explain how she had died, which Xin Feng happily did by explaining the covered story of her appearing in front of him to give him her legacy in order to protect himself against the demon lord that's on his way to take over her domain.
"I don't understand… What makes you so special that she decided to choose you?"
"I don't know." Xin Feng shrugged to indicate that he didn't know. "Well... She is a woman, so perhaps my beauty and talents is even able to charm something of such a position. Am I not wrong, sis?"
