The afternoon class was the same as the morning class the day before, that is, they now had class with Brand.
The students were divided the same way as the day before, except for Caleb, Kevin and Arlen. The three went to the lake area with Brand's permission to practice their skills.
In Kevin's case, increasing the amount of water and accuracy. Arlen wanted to see how his water skills would work and how far he could extend them. Caleb was creating ice cubes that would melt with the heat, making more water.
After a while Kevin was a little bored and made a proposal.
—Why don't we play?
The others were confused by Kevin's random question.
—Play?
—Yes. Play tag.
—You're going to have to explain a little more Kevin.
—Look...
Kevin moved a bit of water and carried it toward Arlen, stopping it right in front of him.
—If you don't want to get hit, run.
After Kevin's simple sentence, Arlen understood his intentions and started running in the opposite direction.
Kevin couldn't control the skill enough to get to wet Arlen, to whom it seemed like a good idea. But he had a feeling that only Kevin and he could play, and leaving Caleb out would not be the right thing to do.
—Okay, one moves the water while the other runs away. But the one who moves the water loses if he misses the target or if Caleb freezes the water before he gets there.
—And the one who wins is because he hits his target.
—It's a two-on-one where, the pursued and Caleb are a team, against the pursuer.
—I like it.
With everyone in agreement they would start again with Kevin being the chaser again.
So the three of them spent a great afternoon, laughing, getting wet and enjoying each other.
When they finally stopped to rest before going to lunch Arlen took a look at his stats panel.

Arlen couldn't help but smile with satisfaction. He was close to leveling up and was getting stronger and stronger, growing steadily and steadily. He was happy and curious about where the limit of his power would be. Although he knew it was far from it.
As the sun went down behind the windows they met up with the rest and had dinner all smiling together.
Caleb took a moment after dinner to go to a training camp to watch the stars shining in the night. He thought about yesterday, today, his family and Arlen.
Quietly, Laia approached him and sat down next to him.
They both kept silent for a long time, thinking.
—You told them something, didn't you?
—Yes... Sorry.
—Don't worry, I know how to shut my mouth when I have to.
And they both kept quiet without moving much.
—Allen is an interesting guy. —Caleb said suddenly. —I know he just gained his ability and awakened his bloodline, and that a person just starting out advances faster than a person who's been at it for a long time. But Arlen seems to take that to the limit. We're 3 days in and he seems to have grown at an unstoppable rate, as if he has great potential.
—He must be someone special to make the Wolf heir's sister do nothing but talk about him. Or brave enough to go toe-to-toe with the White heir without fear that he might talk back.
—Do you like him?
—But between you and him, I'd choose you without hesitation.
Caleb smiled as he listened to Laia. He didn't know if he was saying that because his family was part of the Whites, or because he really thought it, but he was glad to hear it.
—Thank you.
And Laia smiled. And as she watched the stars a shooting star passed by, to which she made a wish.
'May this happiness be forever.'
The next day everyone was in a good mood and eager to start a new class. Professor Kei's strategy class.
It was the only class they had where the welcome speech was given, only that unlike 300 people filling it now barely reaches 50. Kei with a smile stood in the middle of the stage and introduced himself again to the students.
The truth is that a class of theoretical content that did not make fun or entertained most of the students, but attendance was mandatory if you did not want to be searched throughout the Academy and then be punished.
When the class was finally over, everyone got up from their chairs eagerly.
—What a boring class. —Kevin was the first to complain during lunch. —Can't they add more combat classes or something? Does it have to be tactics class? How awful.
—We have Mary's class this afternoon, so let's get a move on and get some sunshine.
He replied to Arlen.
—I liked the class. It looks like we're going to do some fun stuff.
When Laia said that, everyone turned around surprised, not because she was Laia, but because everyone thought it was a drag.
After lunch and break the afternoon class began, Mary's class.
"Hey Arlen, I was thinking, instead of a sword get a weapon that you can use better with your skill."
'I'm going to ask the teacher, see what she says.'
—Sorry, I wanted to ask you a question.
—Question.
—You see, I know I trained with a sword yesterday, but I wanted to use a weapon that I could use combined to skill.
—What is your skill?
—Telekinesis.
—Then it would be something you can throw or move freely... I would recommend a bow, but it's old-fashioned and doesn't have great power unless you improve your skill a lot... I think swords are a good choice.
—Swords? Why?
—With your telekinesis power you can move things without any hindrance, for example, move a sword smoothly in the air. And as you grow and improve, maybe you can use two, three or four swords without any problems with your ability.
The teacher's comment cheered Arlen up. He was afraid that he had wasted yesterday on something that would be of no use, but nevertheless he had luckily chosen a weapon that he could get a lot of use out of.
Arlen concentrated on his training and didn't notice how time was passing until he got a big notification.
