Oh God heavens! I freaked out. But no sound came from me. Seeing him lying beside me gave me chills. My heartrate becomes faster. I have no idea what happened. How did I end up like this? Where the hell are my clothes? Why he is lying shirtless? What really happened? Did I had sex with him? Have I lost my virginity? Oh No! I just got engaged yesterday! Millions of questions ran through my mind without having a single ounce of memory. But I didn't feel anything. My head aches due to the drinks I had. But there was no sign of anything extraordinary. Maybe nothing had happened. First let me find my phone. I searched the table beside me. At last, I found my phone. First thing I see what time it was.
"8.12 am" and a text from an "unknown" number. Who the hell messaged me this early?. Even in that disastrous moment, I couldn't help but to have a glance at the incoming message.
"Hey Natalia! This is Benett."
"Mr.Peterson asked me to take some files to his office. He informed me that those files are in your penthouse and you are staying there."
"Would you please keep those files ready so that I can receive by coming there?"
"I will be at your penthouse by 9 am."
OH NO NO NO NO! THIS IS SUCH A DISASTER! How am I supposed to reach penthouse by 9? I thought quickly.
First I have to dress up. But where are my f**king clothes? However, I have no time to search for my dress. So I quickly grabbed a leather coat and pants that were lying on the floor. These are Jayden's clothes. But I left with no choice. If I won't reach there on time, the consequences would be bad.
I quickly found my wallet and when I was about to leave, I stepped back to see Jayden one more time, even in this hurry burry. He was sleeping peacefully. I could see his tattooed body as he was shirtless. God! I always hated tattooed guys. But in this case, I was hooked. How can he change my preferences by doing nothing? I have to admit that, Even in his sleep, he looks good. My heart yearned for him. Even my stupid brain has lost its senses.
So, having a quick glance at Jayden Romano, I left the room.
Da*n, this house is big. How I am supposed to find my way out? While searching for the way to the entrance, I accidentally bumped into someone.
"Hey, Watch out!" the voice screamed. Regaining my composure, I turn back to see who it was.
I didn't know who he was. Rugged feature, still good looking but not attractive as Jayden. Sleepy eyes and a reek of alcohol and weed. he had a hickey in his neck region which implies that he had a good night.
"Hey, you good?" he asked me.
"Yeah, I am so sorry, I was focused on finding my way out." I apologized.
"It's okay. Well, did you come from Jayden's room?" he asked.
I am not ready to answer this question until I find out what the hell really happened the previous night.
"Could you please guide me the way to the entrance?" I changed the subject.
He stared at me for seconds. Then he replied.
"Take first right across the room and you will reach the main door"
"Thank you" I said.
"Wait! Ms.Noname , You didn't answer my question" he interrupted me.
"Ask the damn question to your f**king friend, Mr.Idontknowyourname" I replied with the same sass.
Instead of being annoyed, he laughed "Oh, but I have a name. I am Tyler. Jayden's friend. My friends call me Ty."
"Oh! so, nice meeting you Tyler! But If you expect me to tell you my name, I afraid I can't. I gotta go bye!" saying this, I stormed off the place.
After leaving that place, I booked a cab and successfully reached my penthouse within 8.50 am. On reaching there, I quickly took a shower and changed my clothes. Next things is I have to keep those stupid files ready. So, I searched through the shelves and found the file finally.
The door bell rang accurately at 9 am. It was probably Benett. Is he a freaking alarm clock? I opened the door. Benett stood there dressed in olive green suit, in which he looked ridiculous. Seriously? Suit in olive green? This man has no taste.
"Here are your files, Mr.Carter" I handed over the files to him. He checked me out for seconds.
"You even look beautiful in the mornings, Natalia. By the way, call me Benett. You are my fiance now" He said with pride.
Fiance..... that da*m word hurts. It keep on reminding me that I was engaged to him. But there was no place for hesitation. I have to send him off so that I can rest peacefully.
"I will get used to it eventually, Benett. Have a good day at work"
"Oh okay! Bye Natalia!" He left.
Finally, some alone time. Just me and my thoughts. I took my phone and read the message from Jess asking me whether I had reached home safely. I replied her but hide the fact that I woke next to Jayden. Well, Jess hates him and Meghan will die of heart attack, If they get to know the truth.
But why should I worry about this? This will remain a secret between Jayden and I. Tyler doesn't even knows my name and It's not like Jayden's gonna stand at my doorstep and ask me about it.
As I was about to go upstairs, The door bell rang once again. I wasn't expecting someone. But, I was also curious who came to my home this early. So, I opened the door.....just to see Jayden standing outside the door holding my dress in his hands.
Well.... Let me die, Oh Lord!
