Chapter 32 - Let's Interview Ryan!

"If you make a profit, I'll post a video of me eating sh*t."

"I'll have sex in public if you could make a profit."

"If you make a profit, I'd think highly of you, and I'd worship Ryan as my master."

One sentence ignited a fire in the viewers' hearts.

The comments were updating nonstop.

"This motherf*cker sure can brag, huh? I predict that Ryan will return to his confined life in no time."

"Crude oil is poison. Whoever buys it will lose. I used to drive a Mercedes-Benz, but now I'm riding a bicycle."

"He definitely overestimated himself trying to win with a principal of 30 million dollars and a big drop in the crude oil market. Even 300 billion dollars won't be able to get the crude oil market to start going."

"This kid does have some stock market skills, but this futures investment will be a huge fail. I admire his insight and decision to put a hold on the stock market investment.

But his investment in the futures is definitely a pitfall."

Many experienced investors were getting angry in the comment section.

They were mad at Ryan for not scamming a huge number of people by not explaining the stock market clearly in the first place.

That was how people were.

Although Ryan didn't distinctly talk about the market, he did talk about a pharmaceutical stock.

And if the people paid attention, they would have noticed that he did not buy a single stock which indicated that the stock was bad.

But that was how people were.

If I fall and you don't, then I'd be mad.

Everyone thought that Ryan was the one who caused their fall.

The person who supported Ryan earlier was now flooded by endless comments.

"I don't believe that you can't earn money from buying stocks. I earned 300,000. I support Ryan."

"You people clearly don't have a heart, laughing and humiliating people like you have nothing better to do. The biggest joke has yet to come. I think that it's not that bad for Ryan's investment of 30 million dollars to be left with 30 thousand."

"Proceed with the stock tomorrow then. Don't be a coward."

..

Ryan arrived at a high-end Japanese restaurant.

He did not care at all about the criticism on the internet.

A person was successful if he was other people's center of attention.

Even if the attention was due to a bad reputation, it was still better than not having any attention.

Some people had a thousand years of fame and honor. They were often glorified for generations.

Whether it was scoldings or praises, there was no difference if there was recognition.

No one would scold or praise an incompetent person.

Because that would be a waste of time.

But a person who received attention was undoubtedly brilliant.

This was what Ryan wanted. As the crown prince of a financial organization in his previous life, becoming an ordinary person was something he could not accept.

This was also the main purpose of Ryan's interviews.

The more exposure a person had, the more famous he would be.

The more famous he would be, the more resources available for him in society.

Then, money would flow like a river.

After crude oil bottomed out, Ryan's first move was to open an investment company.

There were actually two reasons for this.

First, he wanted to build his own business empire.

In his previous life, the business empire was his father's.

Second, he was free. He could do anything he wanted. If he fancied a celebrity, she would be just a phone call away.

Now that Ryan had invested in crude oil, the only person who believed that he could make money was the host.

The funny thing was that Ryan didn't even know her name.

He didn't care.

But after the two hours they spent together last night, Ryan had a feeling that the host was different from the gold diggers.

The host was in position, ready to interview Ron.

This interview was not a request from the program team, but the host's personal decision.

Although, it wasn't necessary as it wouldn't affect the viewership of the show.

This man in front of her had made such amazing progress in only five moves.

It was a miracle.

The host was not a fool, she was actually very smart.

For she had discovered a trait of this man she had been intimate with for two hours.

That special trait was that Ryan earned money purely to fulfill his interests.

He was different from the average person who earned money for a living.

Some earned money to gain social status as the rich.

Therefore, some became more stingy as they got richer.

But Ryan did it as an interest, a hobby.

He was different. Nothing mattered to him even though he was rich.

The host was fascinated by his behavior.

At the same time, the host was also worried about Ryan.

That's right, she was worried.

There will always be successes and failures in the investment industry.

Ryan's choice of investing in crude oil made the host worried. People did not think highly of crude oil futures.

Even the rich didn't care about it.

It was a serious problem as not a single Wall Street big shot made a move on it.

When the host interviewed Ryan, she was only seeking to hear some constructive advice and affirmation from Ryan so that she could be relieved.

The camera was aimed at Ryan's face.

Although he was enjoying his food quickly, his posture was so elegant with not a single flaw.

This was a contradictory man. He could cross his legs without changing his expression or eat elegantly in public.

"Phew—I am literally speechless. He's so famous now. Even the host wants to interview him in private."

"Yeah, I haven't seen this host interview the other brats from the previous episodes."

"That shouldn't be right. Has Ryan removed himself from the brat label? He just scammed a lot of people."

"Scam? Wouldn't you guys still buy stocks without Ryan? Didn't you guys hear Ryan's warning to that baldy at the beginning? F*ck, a bunch of trolls."

It wasn't long before conflicts began in the comment section.

At that time, the host had already picked up the microphone and was preparing for an interview.

After thinking about it, she decided not to ask any more investment questions. That would just push Ryan to the edge and make it difficult for the rest of the interview.

Therefore, she decided to change the starting topic.

For example, other than investing, what other hobbies did Ryan have?

What sports did he like to play?

..

"Mr. Ryan, other than investing, do you have any other hobbies?" The host asked.

Ryan was stunned. He felt even more impressed with the host at that moment.

She was sensible.

She knew that someone's secret in investments should remain a secret.

So she changed the topic of the interview.

Of course, if she really wanted to interview Ryan about the crude oil issue, he would tell her everything.

But if he ever said it, he knew that most of the people would not believe his judgment.

Humans are so unique. This is one of the reasons why humans stand at the highest point of all living things.

In a war, there were always those who choose to surrender and those who choose to fight head-on.

This was one of the biggest differences between humans and animals.

It is almost impossible for a bulldog to be gentle with other dogs.

But there are many possibilities with humans.

Ryan smiled and said, "Picking up girls counts as one."

"Fighting is one thing."

"Occasional gambling is another thing."

"Eating, drinking, and having fun are also my hobbies."
