Niack's spikes make quick work of a tree, the sound of the impact echoing loudly, serving as a vivid demonstration of their razor-sharp edges. "These spikes are sharp enough to slice through even the toughest metal, and I'll use them to shred you all apart!" Niack charges towards the group, his spiked body poised to strike, ready to unleash a flurry of lethal slashes.
Navar jumps into his path with a swift movement, his sword held aloft in a defensive position. "Shining Sword Okayasu Parry!" Navar and Niack engage in a brief struggle, their weapons colliding with a thunderous force that resonates throughout the entire area. Despite the force of Navar's attack, Niack grins, feeling the adrenaline rush through his veins. "You've got spirit brat! I'm impressed!"
"How about me!" Miri joins the fray, her body surging forward with a burst of energy from the JōKai Exertion, propelling her kick with incredible force. "One Dark Dagger: Fierce Javelin!"
Niack's face contorts in frustration as he lets out a grunt. "That little brat is getting on my nerves!" With both spikes firmly in position, he readies himself to fend off Navar and Miri's relentless attacks, his defense even stronger. Miri's attack strikes with such force that it shatters one of Niack's spikes, leaving him frustrated and grunting in response. "Dammit! Now I only have one spike!"
Niack uses his last spike to propel them away, sending them several feet away from him and ending the two-on-one clash with Navar and Miri. Niack charges towards them, the sheer force of his movements creating a gust of wind as he swings his deadly spike. Navar and Miri react, leaping backward just in time to avoid the lethal blow. "Damn, that was close. He would have killed us with that," says Navar. The impact of Niack's attack is so intense that it obliterates several trees and rocks, leaving the ground trembling beneath their feet.
Miri glances back at the destruction, grateful for the escape. "We were lucky to dodge that," she thinks to herself.
Niack maintains his relentless pursuit, delivering a forceful gut punch to Navar and Miri that sends them crashing through the trees, the reverberation of their collision filling the surroundings.
"Cosmic Summoning: Stardust Burst!". Surrounded by rain, a radiant Cosmic JōKai beam slices through the air, casting a luminous glow on the darkened battlefield. Niack plants his feet firmly into the earth, grounding himself as he prepares for the overwhelming blast wave. As the cosmic blast wave slams into his spike, the ground trembles beneath him, and his ears ring with the force of the impact. He quickly rebounds and sends the wave hurtling back at Astran. She is sent flying across the battlefield with a thunderous impact, landing in a disoriented sprawl.
Amidst the chaos, Chitose observes the battle, trying to discern the best course of action. "I need to figure out something that will keep him distracted," As she searches through her pockets, her fingers brush against a small, round object - a miniature red ball. "This will work! I call upon the forces of fairy magic to increase the size of this object. Magic Spell Fairy Alchemy: Size Alteration!" As she waves her mage stick, ethereal fairies materialize, infusing the red ball with their magic. The colossal ball rolls forward, crashing through the surrounding foliage and trees, causing a cacophony of snapping branches and rustling leaves.
"Troublesome magic…". He squeezes his fist and delivers a powerful blow to the enormous red ball, propelling the ball toward Chitose. To escape its course, she tries to maneuver away with a sidestep, but the ball connects with her head, knocking her out on impact.
As Mei observes the chaos unfolding before her, her worry for her comrades grows stronger. "Dammit, if only there were a way for the rain to cease."
"I have an idea, but it's going to be risky," says Chonozori.
"What is it?"
"Yimono and I can manipulate the weather, but it requires intense concentration and time. Our comrades will need to hold him off until then."
"Understood. We'll rely on Navar, Miri, and Astran to keep that monster at bay for as long as they can."
Navar, Miri, and Astran reemerge on the battlefield, their bodies aching from the wounds inflicted during the grueling fight. "Navar, let's channel everything we've got into this attack. With any luck, we can bring him down," says Miri.
Navar scoffs, his gaze deliberately shifting away from Miri. "Don't tell me what to do.."
"Enough arguing. You both can do that later. Right now, let's focus on taking this guy down."
"Agreed, Astran, We can't let Navar's temper tantrum hinder us."
"Whatever, let's just beat this guy," says Navar.
With their blades infused with the power of their JōKai's, the trio charges at Niack, their weapons radiating with power.
Navar activates JōKai Exertion, his sword surrounded by a brilliant surge of radiant Light JōKai as he propels himself forward. As he approaches, the trees bend and sway under the sheer force of his presence. "Shining Sword: Dynamic Salvation!"
Miri harnesses the JōKai Exertion, propelling herself forward with incredible speed. A vibrant purple aura surrounds her as she spins, creating the illusion of a swirling whirlwind. "Four Dagger: Four Fang Feral Death Strike!"
With a burst of JōKai exertion, Astran enhances her attack, the power behind her swing causing a gust of wind to whip through the forest. "Cosmic Blade: Astraeus Disturbance!"
As he endures the combined assault, Niack feels the powerful impact resonate throughout his body, shattering his spike. "Damn it, those brats destroyed my spike!" Navar, Miri, and Astran's synchronized attacks pummel Niack, causing him to collapse onto the ground.
Exhausted and overwhelmed, the trio collapses to the ground, their bodies trembling with fatigue. Mei silently celebrates their success, feeling relief flooding through her. "Yes! They did it!" she thinks to herself.
However, Niack quickly regains his composure and lets out a scream filled with fury. "Now you've all made me mad!"
"Yikes, he's pissed," She glances up at the dark, brooding sky. "How close are you guys to getting that rain away?"
"We almost got it. Just be patient," says Yimono.
"Get ready, Seiju! Once that rain goes away, we're going on the offensive!"
"Got it!"
The rain toggles on and off as Chonozori and Yimono delve deeper into their meditation. "Come on," Mei thinks to herself.
"Time to get rid of the rest of you!" Niack lunges toward the group, his furious eyes locked on his targets.
Finally, the dark clouds disperse, and a canvas of vibrant blue unfolds before their eyes. "The sky is clear now! You've got 10 minutes to work with!" says Chonozori.
Mei and Seiju spring into action, their bodies propelling through the air with incredible speed. They summon their JōKai in synchronized motion, filling the air with a pulsating aura that signifies their imminent attack on Niack.
Seiju's three flame arrows burst into existence, casting a flickering light that dances and illuminates the surrounding area. With an unwavering focus, he releases the fire arrows towards Niack, the arrows whistling through the air as they fly towards their target. "Flame Bow: Tri-Arrow Shot!" With searing heat, the three arrows blaze through the air, leaving a trail of smoke and scorch marks on the surrounding foliage.
Mei, her palms radiating with fiery energy, unleashes a powerful attack. "Flame Summoning: Great Ember Descent!" As she releases her power, two waves of scorching heat erupt from her hands, creating a mesmerizing glow in the air with their vibrant orange flames.
Seiju and Mei's combined assault hits its mark, striking Niack with a force that sends him crashing to the ground. Mei's lips curl into a confident grin, her eyes sparkling with determination. "Seiju, let's take this guy down."
