It was huge, the library.
The place was like a whole pavilion itself. They entered the library and Bai Shuyin almost tripped on the little stairs. The smell of cellulose reacting with the light and water made the place feel a slight warmer than the air outside. It was musty but for some reason, Bai Shuyin found herself quite fond of the smell.
The structure of the place was built like a sphere and along the circumferences of the large space were high bookshelves. However, much to her surprise, Professor Luo led her down to another pathway that Bai Shuyin could have easily mistaken for a storage room.
Along the way, while the younger girl was trying her hardest not to trip on fallen books or stepping into one, she had managed to introduce herself to Professor Luo. They entered a smaller room where a chair and table was placed at the center of it.
