A hand smacked her away. "Unruly kitten."
Bai Shuyin hissed and the back of her hand pounded. She couldn't count how many times she had been smacked by Grandma Bai in just these few hours. She had been here since early morning and from the sunlight that peeked through the curtain of the waterfall, probably just mid-afternoon.
Divine Master Yun Shuang narrowed her reprimanding eyes, completely unamused by Bai Shuyin's small brain before sighing.
"I see you got a glimpse of your spiritual energy," The old woman said. "So, how was it?" She made a vague motion at Bai Shuyin.
"Broken." Bai Shuyin said truthfully. "It felt awful."
"Understandable," Grandma Bai said, nodding her head and she began standing up. Bai Shuyin blinked up at her, wondering what she was about to do.
