"Roast duck! Roast duck! They're very delicious!" The man at the vendor shouted as he fanned the meat on the grill. He wiped bald head with the towel around his neck and resumed promoting his goods.
"Niao niao, this smells so good!" Bai Shuyin clutched onto Niao niao as she watched the meat turn darker brown. It looked glazy and sparkling that Bai Shuyin had to hold onto her maidservant because her knees had weakened from the phenomenal sight.
The man noticed their presence and lit up brightly. "Young miss, young miss! Roasted duck, they are very delicious! Want to give it a shot?"
Bai Shuyin's middle section made an ugly whining sound as she rubbed her stomach. Niao niao laughed and agreed with the man and paid him. The seller told them to wait as he continued fanning the grilled meat. He then picked the big drumstick and impaled it to the wooden stick and handed it to Bai Shuyin.
