Although there was no danger, an alarm had been triggered.
The alarm sound was exceptionally piercing in the empty secret room. Chen Kai was startled and, without time to think, quickly fled the scene and hid in a corner.
Duan Minglang and the others immediately rushed to the source of the alarm, only to find no one there.
