Eric quietly stared at Chen Kai, then suddenly smiled meaningfully.
"Looking at you like this, it seems like you really think you've won, like I can't escape, huh?"
Chen Kai coldly stared back at him.
"From what you're saying, it seems like you think I'm wrong?"
Eric didn't answer the question, instead, he coughed softly.
As the sound faded, Chen Kai suddenly noticed that an inexplicably large group of bodyguards had appeared behind Eric.
Chen Kai was somewhat surprised as he looked at Eric, unable to understand how these men had appeared out of nowhere; he had clearly seen Eric arrive alone by car, walking into the restaurant by himself.
Had these bodyguards been ambushed here before his arrival?
Eric smiled smugly.
"Did you think I came unprepared? You really underestimate me. Xia Jianying's daughter is your good friend. If I couldn't see such an obvious flaw, I probably wouldn't have been able to survive in Huaxia for long."
