Chen Kai let out a gentle sigh.
"You don't need to worry about me. As for yourself, do you think you'll feel better after a while? If it's really no good, you should go to the hospital."
Gao Rourou nodded, moved by his concern, and then she hurriedly urged.
"You better leave quickly, otherwise my brother will come back soon and I'm afraid you two will start fighting again."
Chen Kai was indeed worried about this very issue, so he nodded silently, stood up, and turned to leave.
When he reached the door, he suddenly turned back and looked at Gao Rourou with a meaningful gaze, as if he had more to say but held back.
Gao Rourou asked with confusion.
"Did you remember something?"
Chen Kai gently shook his head.
"It's nothing, take care of yourself."
Gao Rourou smiled sweetly.
"Why do you make it sound like we're parting forever?"
"It's just my period that's come, not as serious as you're making it out to be. There's no need for you to worry that much."
