A look of confusion spread across Qin Xiang's face as she took the phone, her eyes widening in shock at seeing Li Jueyu's name. She turned an incredulous gaze on Chen Kai.
"Where did you get this list from?"
Chen Kai shook his head with a bitter smile.
"Do you think that question matters at all? The important thing is what I said about Li Jueyu—it turns out he indeed had ulterior motives."
Qin Xiang still found it hard to believe, mumbling to herself as she held the phone.
"This man seemed decent to me, and yet it turns out he's a wolf in sheep's clothing. I simply refuse to believe he's capable of this."
Chen Kai sighed softly again.
"What can I say, Qin? You're a strong woman. Thanks to your leadership, the Qin family enterprise is flourishing. But perhaps you're lacking when it comes to human relations."
