A moment of bleakness flashed across Chen Kai's face.

Li Zixi furrowed her brows, carefully chewing on the meaning of these words.
Chen Kai chuckled lightly.
"You don't need to rush, I can understand why you're refusing me now, but I believe it won't be long before the Li Family will personally seek me out for cooperation."
Li Zixi had already made her way to the club's entrance when she heard this. She abruptly turned around, her gaze heavy with meaning as she looked at Chen Kai.
Chen silently nodded.
"I've said all I need to say; if you wish to leave, you're free to do so now. But remember what I just said to you, in order not to be scared by your own actions in the future."
"Or you could relay my words to the Li Family patriarch. I feel you're probably not the decision maker in your family, and it'll have to be the old man himself who deals with me."
