Chen Kai felt that letting Qin Xiang sleep in the hospital might not be the best idea. After some thought, he decided it would be better to take her home.
Since the medical fees had already been paid, and removing the infusion needle didn't seem to require great skill, Chen Kai took down the infusion bottle himself. He then carried Qin Xiang towards the hospital's main door.
As they neared the door, a young nurse spotted them. Seeing Chen Kai carrying Qin Xiang, seemingly ready to leave the hospital, she looked at them in confusion.
"Are you being discharged? Have you completed the necessary procedures?"
Chen Kai gave a helpless smile. "You're overthinking it. We were only here for an infusion. Now that it's done, we've decided to go home and sleep. We've already paid the medical fees, so we don't need a refund for any extra costs."
