"It seems I need to call Qin Yue regardless, we must find Chen Kai today or it will be tough when my brother arrives."
With this thought, she urgently pulls out her phone.
She dials Qin Yue's number.
No one answers the call, and eventually, a cold, automated message is all she hears.
"The subscriber you dialed is currently unavailable, please dial again later."
Gao Rourou nearly throws her phone on the ground in frustration.
"What's going on with these people? All starting to ignore calls. I'm thinking of their safety and they treat me like this."
But, on second thought, even if there's a major feud within the family, her relationship with Qin Yue wouldn't be affected to such an extent. Qin Yue is probably busy with something else or simply left her phone behind, although this seems unlikely.
